We want you to get the most out of your time at ACU. That’s why we offer a wide range of support services and resources so you can keep informed and find help if you need it.
Students seeking career advice can get help with interview skills, resume writing, and career path options. Or if you need someone to talk to, ACU offers counselling services on all campuses.
ACU’s Academic Skills Unit is the place to go to develop the skills to succeed at university. Workshops on academic writing, referencing, exam preparation and more are available. There are also resources to help you manage your finances, and students with a disability or long-term medical condition have access to disability advisers on each campus.
These services are all free of charge for ACU students.

ACU has a range of clubs, societies and activities to suit all tastes.
ACUNSA is your student association. Their aim is to make university life more rewarding at all levels – from representing the student body at executive level, to facilitating local clubs and social events.
ACU is determined to make a difference to the world we live in, and offers a huge range of community engagement and volunteering opportunities, both in Australia and overseas.
Campus Ministry works to bring the distinctive Catholic identity and mission of ACU to life. Each campus has a campus minister and a chaplain, as well as a Student Faith Group.

ACU OFFERS A HUGE RANGE OF CLUB SPORT AND INTER-UNIVERSITY COMPETITIONS.
ACU offers a huge range of club sport and inter-university competitions. Get fit, make friends, compete, or just get the blood pumping in between classes.
Club sport provides the perfect opportunity to improve your fitness level while having fun and making new friends. You can play as a beginner or at competition level in sports ranging from athletics and hockey to cheerleading and ultimate disc.
Each year, hundreds of our students compete in ACU Games – a competition between the campuses, and Australian University Games – the largest multi-sport event in the country.
YOUR FITNESS AND WELLBEING GOALS ARE IMPORTANT TO US.
We want to support the fitness and wellbeing goals of all our students. ACU offers a range of fun, engaging and interactive programs and tools to help you stay healthy and happy.
Group exercise classes are a great way to keep motivated. You can choose from a range of activities including yoga, aqua aerobics, or Tough Mudder training. The Brisbane and Melbourne campuses also have gyms available for student use.
Counselling services can help you overcome challenges and maintain study/life balance, while other services are available for a range of health matters.
MUSIC, ART AND CREATIVITY ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE UNIVERSITY TRADITION.
Music, art and creativity are an important part of the university tradition.
ACU’s Performing Arts Society is for students who are passionate about drama, filmmaking and comedy. If you love singing, the ACU Student Choir could be for you, or if you’re interested in presenting and production, ACU Wired Radio is an in-house radio station run by staff and students.
If you have an ear for languages or you want to add to your skill-set, there are French, Mandarin, Spanish and Italian classes available. Or debating, public speaking competitions and Toastmasters might be for you.
There are also a range of opportunities for creative expression and engagement, including annual art exhibitions and prizes.
